Devi Lockwood: One Bike, One Year
This month, I’m excited to feature another young climate-cyclist-activist, traveling the world and collecting stories from communities and individuals facing the climate crisis.
Meet Devi Lockwood, a self-described “poet, touring cyclist, and storyteller.” She graduated from Harvard College in 2015 and set out a year of biking and climate exploration. Her mission is to collect 1001 stories about water and climate change. From New Zealand to the pages of The Guardian, Devi is exploring the relationship between storytelling and poetry through the lense of climate change.
