URGENT: Keystone XL Vote Likely In Senate Next Week

URGENT: ACTION NEEDED

A vote on the approval of the Keystone XL pipeline is likely to come up in the Senate next week.

If this vote loses in the Senate, it would be a negative setback and make it more likely that Obama would approve the pipeline.

So we have to use our powers of democracy and let our elected officials know that we want them to vote against KXL!

What can you do?

  • On Tuesday, call your Senators asking them to vote against the Keystone XL pipeline. Click here for a list of talking points that the Sierra Club put together.
  • Find email action alerts targeting your Senators. (NRDC has a petition up at the moment. Your local environmental organization may have one as well.)
  • Use that social media! Tweet and Facebook @ your Senators
  • Recruit a few friends to join you as well.
