We all want our voices heard. We all want our politicians to listen to our concerns. We all want the best future we can have.
Students from around the country are coming together to share this message–especially for our generation, the Millennials. An historic election is coming up in November, and now is the time to stand up and insist that our generation’s interests are understood.
The next four years will be crucial: we must deal with climate change. Debt. Rising cost of education. Unemployment. Energy sources. We must rise above “petty arguments” and political partisanship to find real solutions that will provide a safer, healthier, and more socially just future.
President Obama and Governor Romney should hear from our generation about our goals, dreams, concerns, and ideas. We are the one who will be most affected by policies of the coming years, and therefore we deserve an opportunity to have our voices heard.
Students from universities around the country are coming together to develop a “Forum on the Future.” This is an opportunity for our generation to ask our leaders the questions that we really care about.
The first step is to sign the petition asking Obama and Romney to participate in the Forum on the Future. Check it out, and spread the word! http://futureforum.nationbuilder.com/?recruiter_id=811
