I’ve recently come across two reports that I think are very informative and necessary to read:
1) The Psychology of Climate Change Communication: http://guide.cred.columbia.edu/pdfs/CREDguide_full-res.pdf
2) Public Support For Climate and Energy Policies in March 2012: http://environment.yale.edu/climate/files/Policy-Support-March-2012.pdf
Both of these studies underscore the importance of studying both the hard and social sciences to effect meaningful wide-spread change. It is also an insight into the challenges that we face today. But there is hope, and understanding these reports will provide guidance for developing different strategies.
