Earth Day Sucks

I just wrote an op-ed for The Crimson about why Earth Day sucks. I believe that it creates a soporific effect that does not translate into sustainable long-lasting behavior. There is also data that supports this trend. Every day is Earth Day. When the one billion people to participate in Earth Day bring those green behaviors to other days of the year, then real change will be feasible and easy. The environmental population needs to reconfigure their strategies so that we’re creating a movement, not a moment. We can do it. We can effect the change. Check it out:
